Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Techmo collects, uses, stores, protects, shares, and manages information when you use our website and customer messaging services.

Effective date: May 28, 2026

1. Commitment to privacy

Techmo respects the privacy of users, customers, and end users whose conversations may be managed through our platform.

We aim to collect only the information needed to provide the service, protect accounts, support customers, and improve the product.

2. Information we collect

We may collect account and profile information such as name, email address, phone number, company name, job title, billing details, and workspace settings.

We may collect information you submit through forms, demo requests, support conversations, surveys, contracts, or other communications with Techmo.

When you use the service, we may process customer conversation data, message content, sender identifiers, timestamps, channel metadata, attachments, tags, notes, assignments, and other workflow data needed to operate the shared inbox.

We may collect technical and usage data such as browser type, device information, IP address, pages visited, feature usage, log data, error reports, cookies, and similar analytics information.

3. When information is collected

Information may be collected when you visit the website, create an account, request a demo, subscribe to a plan, connect a messaging channel, invite team members, submit a form, contact support, or otherwise interact with Techmo.

Information may also be collected automatically when you use the website or service, including through cookies, logs, integrations, and platform webhooks.

4. How we use information

We use information to provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve Techmo and the customer messaging workflows you configure.

We use information to create and authenticate accounts, connect supported messaging channels, route conversations, display customer context, synchronize platform events, and support team collaboration.

We use information to respond to inquiries, provide onboarding and customer support, process subscriptions and payments, send service updates, and communicate important account or security notices.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, product research, performance monitoring, and improving reliability, usability, and customer workflows.

We may use information to prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, spam, security incidents, or violations of our terms and applicable law.

5. Messaging platform data

Techmo may integrate with third-party messaging platforms such as Facebook, Zalo, web chat, and other supported channels. The exact data processed depends on the channel, permissions granted, and features used by the customer.

Platform data may include messages, comments, sender or recipient identifiers, page or account identifiers, conversation metadata, delivery status, attachments, and webhook events.

Techmo processes platform data only to provide the requested messaging, support, workflow, automation, reporting, and synchronization features.

Third-party platforms may apply their own terms, privacy policies, permission rules, API limits, data retention rules, and review requirements.

6. Cookies and tracking technologies

We may use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, understand website usage, improve performance, support security, and measure marketing effectiveness.

You can usually control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain website or service functionality.

7. Sharing information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate Techmo, including hosting, infrastructure, analytics, payments, communications, customer support, security, and product operations providers.

We may share information with third-party platforms or integrations when needed to provide features you choose to use, such as sending or receiving messages through connected channels.

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, court order, or government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, security, users, Techmo, or others.

If Techmo is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to appropriate protections.

8. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

These measures may include access controls, role-based permissions, encryption where appropriate, monitoring, backups, secure infrastructure, and internal security procedures.

Only authorized personnel and service providers should access information when needed to operate, maintain, secure, support, or improve the service.

No online service can guarantee absolute security, so customers are responsible for using strong passwords, managing user permissions, protecting connected channel credentials, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.

9. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, support active subscriptions, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce agreements.

Customer conversation data may remain stored while an account or workspace is active, unless the customer deletes it, configures retention controls, or requests deletion where available.

After subscription expiration or termination, Techmo may retain data for a reasonable period to support renewal, backup, legal, accounting, dispute resolution, and security purposes, then delete or anonymize it according to internal policies and applicable law.

Some information may remain in backups or logs for a limited period before routine deletion.

10. Access, correction, deletion, and export

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or export of personal information we process about you.

Workspace owners and administrators may be able to update user profile details, invite or remove users, configure connected channels, and delete certain workspace data directly in the product.

We may need to verify your identity or authority before fulfilling a privacy request, especially where the request relates to a business workspace or customer conversation data.

11. Customer responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring they have a lawful basis to collect, import, connect, and process end-user information through Techmo.

Customers are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of content they submit to the service and messages they send through connected channels.

Customers should inform their own end users about how customer conversation data is collected and processed, and should respond to end-user privacy requests as required by applicable law.

12. Marketing communications

If you submit your contact information or sign up for Techmo, we may send service-related communications and, where permitted, product or marketing updates.

You may opt out of non-essential marketing communications by using unsubscribe instructions or contacting us. We may still send transactional, security, billing, or service notices.

13. International transfers

Techmo, its infrastructure providers, and service providers may process information in countries other than where you are located.

When information is transferred internationally, we use reasonable safeguards designed to protect it according to this policy and applicable law.

14. Third-party links and services

The Techmo website or service may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, applications, or services that are not operated by Techmo.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, security, or policies of third-party services. You should review their privacy policies before using them.

15. Children's privacy

Techmo is intended for business use and is not directed to children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Techmo, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, legal requirements, or business practices.

When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and may provide additional notice through the website, product, or email.
